Committed to offering compassionate, culturally sensitive, and effective treatment, Megara employs a collaborative approach rooted in Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She focuses on empowering clients by helping them rewrite their lives and embrace their strengths. As a bilingual therapist, she is able to do this in English and Spanish.
Megara's clinical experience spans diverse populations, including teenagers, families, interracial couples, and individuals facing cultural stigmas, trauma, and addiction. Her approach is informed by her deep understanding of cultural contexts and the unique narratives that shape each client's life. Megara received her Master of Science from Texas Tech University’s premiere Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy program. Her educational background and extensive training have equipped her to provide high-quality mental health services, particularly in underserved communities, including Spanish-speaking communities. In addition to her clinical work, Megara is an active member of the West Texas community, where she has lived since 2018. She finds joy in exploring local coffee shops, enjoying matcha lattes and teas, and indulging in Asian cuisine at Thai Kitchen and Seoul Korean Cuisine. You may also find her visiting arcades, go-karting, and attending K-pop events at bubble tea shops around Lubbock. Megara's passion for helping others and her dedication to fostering positive outcomes in her clients' lives make her a valued therapist in the community.
