Anna Brown, BSAs owner and director of Desert Sky, Anna is committed to bringing effective and collaborative mental and behavioral health services to the West Texas community. She only hires the best helping professionals and prides herself in crafting a collaborative, competent, and inclusive team.
She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Brigham Young University. During this time, she spent several months overseas in Romania, where she served underprivileged and marginalized children in a local orphanage and hospital in the city of Iași. This humbling experience spring-boarded her enthusiasm and passion for helping others. She brings this same heart and commitment to serving those in West Texas. Anna has also served many at-risk youth and their families within a teenage rehabilitation center in Utah, where she taught life skills classes and mentored youth towards sobriety and healthy lifestyles. Administratively, she coordinated and managed treatment among case managers, therapists, parents, program leaders, and state officials to help ensure the best outcomes. Having lived in West Texas for several years she is familiar with the strengths of our community and strives to use them to work through our struggles. She strongly believes in the power of therapy and the positive influence it can have in our lives. She loves books, podcasts, her incredible family, and of course, Oreos. she/her |
